- What are the reasons why are flights delayed?
Flights can be delayed for numerous reasons including bad weather, air traffic control backlogs, aircraft maintenance issues, or staff shortages. Lastly, if airline staff are unavailable, crew shortages can lead to delays as there isn't anyone to complete necessary tasks.
