- Do airlines have to pay for hotel if flight is cancelled?
Yes, airlines may have to provide hotel accommodations for cancelled flights in certain circumstances. Generally, when a cancellation is caused by the airline’s own fault, it must provide hotel lodging or comparable accommodations as long as there is an inconvenience to the customer.
