- What happens if the airline cancels my flight?
If an airline cancels your flight, you are typically entitled to a full refund for the unused ticket. In some cases, the airline will offer an alternate flight or route. If the alternative flight isn’t suitable, you can usually opt for a full refund of taxes, fees and fare paid. Airlines may also offer vouchers, credits or other incentives to make up for the inconvenience. Be sure to inquire with the airline directly to confirm their policy.
