How late can a flight be cancelled?

A flight cannot be cancelled less than two hours prior to scheduled departure—this is generally the minimum required time for passengers to check-in and to board the flight. Airlines may also choose to cancel a flight up to 24 hours in advance for operational or commercial reasons. Passengers affected by such a cancellation should receive either a full refund or rebooked flights.
