Last updated on April 25, 2023

Alaska Airlines is cancelling flights due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which has drastically reduced air travel demand. The airline has reduced its capacity by 85%, and as a result, has had to cut many routes, including some in Alaska. This has been implemented in order to ensure the safety of passengers, as well as reduce costs in the face of reduced revenue.
