Will United cancel my flight?

It depends on the circumstances. United has policies in place to handle cancelled flights and details of their policies can be found on their website. Generally speaking, if a flight is cancelled due to circumstances outside of United’s or the customer’s control, they will be re-accommodated on a subsequent flight at no additional charge. However, if the customer needs to cancel their flight, they may be eligible for a refund, depending on the fare type, or may have to pay an additional fee.
