When does your flight get cancelled?

Your flight may be cancelled due to a variety of reasons. These include bad weather, mechanical problems, air traffic control issues, or security threats. Flight cancelations can occur any time after you’ve booked your flight, up until the moment you’re scheduled to board your plane. Your airline will usually inform you of the cancellation and provide assistance with alternate flight arrangements.
