How many flights has American Airlines cancelled?

American Airlines has cancelled over 100,000 flights across its entire network since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. The carrier announced in March 2020 that it would be reducing its flight operations by 75%, and has since extended these reductions. American Airlines also canceled many peak season international flights over the summer, particularly in Europe. The airline has experienced a rebound in demand since late summer, although many airline routes remain suspended or are operating at decreased capacity.
