- How Far In Advance Are Flights Cancelled?
Typically, flights are cancelled at least 24 hours in advance. This is to allow passengers sufficient time to make alternate plans. However, if weather or other unforeseen circumstances arise, the airline may decide to cancel a flight with no advance warning. In the event of a flight cancellation, airlines usually provide affected passengers with alternative travel options.
