The process for canceling an American Airlines flight is simple and can be done a few different ways. You can go online and cancel your flight via the Manage My Trip section of the American Airlines website, or you can call 1-800-433-7300 (1-800-I-FLY-AA) and speak to a customer service representative to help you. If you’ve already purchased a nonrefundable ticket at a cheaper price, you can cancel for a full travel credit that can be used for one year from the date of cancellation.
